Fred first off I said I use US healthcare insurer instead of Canadian. I
didn't say I use Blue Cross because I don't. I said if I need proper
coverage in alberta I have to get Blue Cross after I've paid for healthcare
through my federal taxes and provicial healthcare billing. The very fact I
should of paid for these items three times just to get what I currently pay
for once from a forgein country, pisses me off. I really don't give a rats
ass if they change the healthcare here as the public in Canada has proven
time and time again that they are retards with the actions they choose to
support and bullshit they take over and over with a smile to boot. Canada's
identity in most western countries is a bunch of polite mindless sheep,
wether you agree or like it is beside the point as that is how we're veiwed
   by others mostly
This healthcare thing is only one example of overtaxation for services
rendered. I'm sure the many people here could site thousands but I just used
one we all should know as we are forced to pay it, use it and feel
incomplete about it once used. It's the endless waste of tax dollars that
show one of the worst returns of any first world nations, that I don't like.
I personally am not taken it up the ass anymore. You however might like it
up the ass, but that's your choice. I know I'm not alone in finding better
more rewarding places to live with better quality of life, as thousands move
out every month from Canada because of those reason mostly. Not that they
will tell you about it. I'm not like some whiny Quebecor that keeps
demanding special treatment and uttering threats of seperation they are
pointless with the dictatorship we have here. I'm doing what I feel is right
for me and my family, as Canada refuses to offer what it did in the past
(continual cutbacks) and ask me to put more resources into it and live at a
lower level of quality than my counter parts elsewhere on the globe. If
that's you idea of happiness then have at her as substandard is your game.
The future is supposed to be better for each following generation but that
is not the case anymore here. My parents quality of life was at the peak of
Canada's levels the government still trys to claim today. Those days have
long long gone with no sight of returning anytime soon if ever. Most people
from those days could afford to live and still get things to enjoy life
with, like boats, RVs, cars, planes, post secondary education and loads of
other things that people in most other places can afford. All those US
people in nice RVs roaming around Canada along with boats, planes can afford
them yet nobody real can here. Things other than cars, housing food and
fixed bills is all most here can afford and sometimes not even that, which
is not quality in life but survival and is really sad.
