Me, I am talking this advice, and holding back judgement on what happened to
him. It is unfortunate he died, but enough facts including the cause of
death not being released is insufficient information for an informed
   decision.

Could be he scored meth and drove a car recklessly and tried to hit the
COP... or could be he was singled out for fat lipping someone that went out
of control, maybe in the wrong place at the wrong time, who knows.

On one trip I had to Mexico I got to talk to a local working at the hotel to
get through school. Quite informative. He sited it was safe on the tourist
strip as the local "mafia" that owned much of the business didn't want a bad
reputation, so if locals unfairly messed with tourists they might disappear
in a few days. They realized bad new repressed business and prices.

So I believe this whole story is FUD urinalism. Lets hear all the facts
first... maybe someone from Mexico can post the facts here.
