   I can't make any recommendations about cell phone service providers as I   
   have only a land line telephone and an electronic answering machine. I   
   just know about the existence of the regional cell phone service providers   
   Bell, Fido, and Rogers.   
      
   However, based on what I've read about Internet service providers in   
   Hamilton, the cable companies seem to do a good job at providing reliable   
   Internet connections. Digital subscriber line (DSL) connections, such as   
   those offered by Bell Sympatico, can work well if you don't live too far   
   away from your telephone central switching office.   
      
   You might want to take a look at the Canadian ISP web site at   
   www.canadianisp.com . It shows you a list of providers, specific   
   information about their Internet access accounts, and a user rating for   
   each provider.
