Well kid, I thought you'd caught on that posting wasn't a good thing
to do. We did have a near record absence of such posts, right after
trying to use the Dawson Killings to promote the murderer's false view
of the world. Until the other day, you hadn't posted here.

It must be a real drag for one's only identity to be connencted with a
   convicted murderer.

Another ten years, at least before the murderer has any chance of getting
out, and given the lack of remorse, that's not likely. Nothing
like being 77 years old and getting out of prison, assuming luck.
52 when the murderer killed, and already 67 already. An old geezer
   with no friends.

Two sons abandoned by an idiot father who thought killing people was
   better than being a father.

I am so very sorry I didn't post about the Concordia Memorial Golf
Tournament, which took place on August 15th, which is a Memorial to
the four people murdered on this day, and which raises money for
   scholarships in their names.

There is a memorial at the Hall Building at Concordia.

Which blast from the past should I post today? My letter to the
Mirror from about 2001 about how Kristian Gravenor shouldn't have
written about your postings here? The one to one of the Con-U student
papers about the lack of commemoration each year on this day? One
of the posts where I mention those who were killed, while not naming
the murderer? The only thing the the murderer's drivel does is
give us a chance to remember those he killed.

Let's go with the one from 1999:

The lunatic posts today, or has someone post for him, because
it was on this day in 1992 that the lunatic killed those innocent
   people.

   The innocent people were:
       Matthew Douglass
       Michael Hogben
       Jaan Saber
       Phoivos Ziogas

I just spent some time finding this. Sadly, it's not easy to
   find on the internet.

There's a Concordia University Memorial Endowment Fund to
remember them by, which provides for four (4) annual entrance
   scholarships.

Oddly, I found one name, in reference to the event, and then
found a reference to the memorial fund. I was fairly certain
at that point that they must have been the ones murdered,
but wasn't certain. I did searches on their names, and
couldn't find anything. Then a search of newsgroups
at dejanews, showed there names together. Sadly, it was
in the lunatic's post. That was the last place I'd look,
since there's no point in reading the lunatic posts.

Michael Hogben was apparently a chemistry professor. I couldn't
find details of the others, though they were all professors.

The lunatic also wounded a departmental secretary and took a
   professor and security guard hostage.

Technically, the lunatic posts might qualify as spam, since
the lunatic is posting the same sequence of messages to a number
of newsgroups, one at a time. And though I haven't read them (who
wants to?), the lunatic would appear to be posting the same
thing every so often. Perhaps the lunatic qualifies for cancel
   messages.

Or we could make a point of contacting dejanews, http://www.deja.com
and pointing out that the lunatic might be spamming.

I remember the day 7 years ago. I was with a friend who was 8 at
the time (ironically, I was with her on that day in December of 1989
when the students were killed), and I was walking her home, and we
spied some computer junk (Apple II vintage) and hauled it home. And
then the murders were on the radio.
