From: gordonbreen623@hotmail.com              Hello Larry              This is an interesting statement: "I can't work"       I am sorry you feel this way but I don't believe you yet.       Several years ago I was given a form from Social Assistance       The form had a statement that read something like this:       Are you incapable of working?       The only way I could answer this question with a "yes" answer was to give up       on myself. I had what seemed at the time overwhelming health problems and       all forms of work I had done seemed out of my reach. I was following the       career of Stephen William Hawking and with all his health problems he was       still working, so how can I say I am incapable of working?              I know all about hell and deep wide valleys with wall so steep that one       would say even if I made it off the valley floor I could never get over the       wall. A famous singer Harry Chapin once said "Got to be the going, not the       getting there, that's good." He also said "So send your mind ahead and maybe       your body will follow."              You are alive today so tell your wife how much you still love her. Ask her       if you can help her with something today. Start with whatever you can do.       Stop worrying about the things you can't do. Make the best of each moment.              G:]              Take care to sell your horse before he dies. The art of life is passing       losses on.       Robert Frost (1874-1963), U.S. poet. The Poetry of Robert Frost, "The       Ingenuities of Debt" (1979).                     "Larry" |
