   WTF! Canada doesn't make 90% of the stuff we buy, so regardless of the   
   Canadian Manufacturing sector that won't affect most purchases. Cars   
   are a special case but TV's, CD's, fridges, in fact almost anything   
   that's manufactured isn't manufactured in Canada anymore so that line   
   is a pile of B.S. The retailers buy from distributors who import most   
   electronics from China or the US, so they can certainly buy for less   
   now. I'm sure they pay in US$ because no country other than Canada   
   would accept CDN$ so they're saving a pile, why don't we save too?
