Yep. Even the government likes the sound on gasoline taxes at $1.70 a litre
far better than where the are now. Strong loonie sheltered Canada from a
whopping 20% decline in currency values in the US dollar, and associated yet
to come inflation. $1.70 per litre of gasoline is what we would pay if
Hargrove and clowns had it their way. Inflation will go nuts if the loonie
   devalues.

Inflation hurts the poor the most. Putting homes, cars and other things
further beyond reach as monthly fixed expenses increase but wages do not
   follow.

The dollar is probably sagging as people cross border shop. A person I know
just came back, after expenses with a used M3 BMW, $25.5K after expenses,
even after Calgary BMW gouged him $500 for a clearance letter, sure beats
the same one with twice the mileage and on the lot for $38K!

Canadian consumers and taxpayers are going to hopefully get a thick skin on
this as the mindless liberal cry-babies and NDP losers are looking for
   excuses for their failures.
