   Regardless of the situation with cross-border pricing, where there are   
   clearly issues that need to be addressed, and where there are clearly   
   businesses that are taking advantage of the Canadian consumer for short term   
   gain, the fundamentals remain the same.  A high dollar relative to the US   
   means lower exports to the US, which will unavoidably result in lost jobs if   
   the rates persist for an appreciable period of time.  T
