Don't embellish his death.              It's been stated many times that he *did not* die because of any       blunt-force trauma. He was technically off duty, and just happened to       be on-scene (or perhaps closer to the scene than other civillians). I       don't think anyone actually saw him die - it was more like they just       discovered him dead. Not sure what exactly he was doing at the time.              Either it was something stupid or embarrasing, or he died of a heart       attack or stroke.
