      Open Letter to TPS Constable Adam Josephs, a.k.a. "Officer Bubbles"   
      
   So, Adam... You think filing a defamation lawsuit is going to end your   
   humiliation?   
      
   Heh. Think again -- your ridicule and humiliation has just BEGUN.   
      
   The "Officer Bubbles" cartoons have been reposted. If you have them taken   
   down a second time, they will be reposted again, and again, and again, --   
   as many times as is necessary. (We also have some GREAT ideas for some new   
   ones, as well.)   
      
   Whether you like it or not, Adam, you've now become a meme on the Internet.   
      
   "Officer Bubbles" has gone viral, becoming emblematic of out-of-control   
   police officers -- like yourself -- whose primary traits are arrogance,   
   hostility and thinly-veiled contempt for the public they swore an oath to   
   serve. After all, in your eyes, we're all just "human garbage" to be   
   collected, aren't we?   
      
   Just Google the term "Streisand Effect" -- you'll see /your/ name prominently   
   listed as one of the latest examples in the Wikipedia entry on the Streisand   
   Effect. You're now in the same select company as Barbara Streisand, the King   
   of Thailand, and the 'Church' of Scientology.   
      
      ... Josephs encountered a female "protester" blowing soap bubbles   
      into the face of another female police officer in an effort to mock   
      the police and diminish their authority in the eyes of her fellow   
      "protesters"....   
      
      ... Josephs informed the female "protestor" that if she did not   
      stop blowing bubbles into the face of his fellow officer immediately,   
      he would arrest her for assault contrary to the Criminal Code R.S.C.   
      1985, c. C46... but then she proceeded to verbally mock Josephs.   
      
   Funny, but your account of events to the court does NOT correspond with what   
   the video shows. Watch the video again--the soap bubbles were nowhere near   
   the female officer's eyes. In fact, /she/ seemed to be completely unconcerned.   
      
   Adam, _you_ were the one who stomped over there from several meters away,   
   and who caused a problem where none existed prior to your involvement.   
      
   Nothing like lying to the Court, is there, Adam?  This shouldn't come as a   
   surprise... after all, it would appear that testilying is as natural to you   
   as breathing. After all, lying is /justified/ isn't it, if it helps you to   
   "collect human garbage"?   
      
   If you think the police are above being mocked, THINK AGAIN.   
      
   Respect is not /automatic/ -- rather, it is earned.   
      
   In fact, it is the over-the-top behavior of petty thugs with badges (such   
   as yourself) that reduces the esteem in which police officers are generally   
   held in the eyes of the public.   
      
   Netizens are not going away, and you can't shut us up. The 'Church' of   
   Scientology tried that -- even with all their money, their lawyers, their   
   private investigators, not to mention the bogus civil and criminal charges   
   laid against their critics, they still failed -- as will you.   
      
   Do you really think that _you_ are going to succeed, where /they/ failed?   
   (If so, then you're even more stupid and arrogant than we thought possible.)   
      
   The only chance you have to even begin to redeem your reputation would be   
   for you to publicly apologize to the woman you threatened, as well as those   
   you are currently suing, just for daring to express their opinions.   
      
   You know whole thing might have blown over if you hadn't decided to sue   
   Youtube posters for making statements such as:   
      
     ... probably wears sunglasses while looking at himself in the mirror!   
      
     ... "officer bubbles probably looks at himself in the mirror a lot"   
      
   In particular, someone as thin-skinned as you apparently are, and especially   
   with the apparent anger management issues you appear to exhibit as a   
   collector of "human garbage", (as you described yourself on your Facebook   
   page) has _NO_ business carrying a loaded gun and patroling the streets.   
      
   We think you should be fired or, at the very least, transferred to a   
   permanent desk job, with little or no public contact. We're not alone in   
   this perception-- there's even a Facebook group calling for you to be fired.   
   (We do believe, however, that there is no reason that your family should   
   starve merely due to the fact that you are an out of control asshole.)   
      
   Stay 'tuned -- we're sure there'll be LOTS more great cartoons coming your   
   way!
