|    Air Conditioner theft in Ontario: What's    |

XPost: can.internet.highspeed, can.general       From: Some@Guy.com              Criminals are going nuts in the US stealing any metal they can get their       hands on.              Railroad rails, power lines. Even stealing cars and getting $200 a ton       for them at the junk yard.              These idiots are causing thousands of dollars in dammage just to get       collect few dozen dollars from metal dealers.              Outside AC units (condenser unit?) are being stolen on a massive scale       in parts of the US south. Homes, churches, commercial properties.              I'm thinking it might be a good idea to build a cage around the outside       AC unit for my small office building and maybe my home as well.              Does anyone know if theft of AC units (mostly for their copper) is       happening on any sort of scale in Ontario at this point? I'm not       hearing too much about this happening here.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
