   I think the biggest barrier to good relations with indigenous   
   communities are their own bitter and hostile leaders.  Many of them seem   
   to feed off hatred of the "colonial white oppressor".  That woman's   
   reaction to an innocent good faith question was pure unmitigated hatred.
