|    Who was Ronald Regan?    |
|    07 Jan 15 03:08:50    |
Ronald Regan was a protestant Irish-American and the 40th President of the       United States. He served from 1981 to 1989. One of the most significant acts       of this President was to grant Diplomatic status to the Vatican City. When       asked why he did this Regan        said it's time to end the war between Catholics and Protestants in the United       States.              Who better could have understood this war and how it had mutated since coming       to the US than an Irish Protestant American? It was a war that claimed the       life of the 35th President of the United States, John Kennedy. Kennedy was a       catholic Irish-American        who served from 1961 to 1963. He was assassinated in office by a Protestant.              Many heard the bells begin to toll for Kennedy long before that day in Dallas.       Prior to being elected a US Senate Committee investigated Kennedy and asked       him how could the American people be sure that he wouldn't take his orders       from the Pope once in        office?               JL - 07-01-2015              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
