Who remembers Trudeau mania? It was the publicity campaign produced by the   
   Liberals' great Canadian dream machine that brought Pierre Trudeau to Power.   
   The propaganda campaign was based on Trudeau's concept of a, "Just Society",   
   which was mass marketed    
   in hard cover and paperback formats, as well as by the CBC and all major   
   newspapers in Canada.   
      
   Trudeau's "Just Society" declared that Canada's Indian and Inuit population   
   would be encouraged to assume the full rights of citizenship through policies   
   which would give them both greater responsibility for their own future and   
   more meaningful equality    
   of opportunity.   
      
   The reality of Trudeau's "Just Society" is that today, as a group, Canada's   
   native population has the highest suicide rate on the planet. It is even   
   higher than the native population living in the United States.
