Have you ever heard of the Civilization of The St. Lawrence Valley? It's   
   something like the Aztecs. Members believe they are the aristocrats of North   
   America. They have their own political philosophy, which is called Pyramidal   
   Federalism.   
      
   Pyramidal Federalism holds that Canada is like a pyramid. Ontario and Quebec   
   are at the top. BC, Alberta and Manitoba are in the middle. SK, NB, NS, PI &   
   NL are on the bottom. Within the system there is a pecking order, which   
   determines an individual's    
   rights.   
      
   Montreal Anglophones once claimed it was both the dominant political   
   philosophy in Ottawa and of Pierre Trudeau.
