The following is an edited excerpt from Hansard, the official written record   
   of all debates and discussions held in Canada's House of Commons. This   
   exchange occurred during a Question & Answer period.   
      
   André Ouellette (Liberal Opposition): "Mr. Prime Minister, I was out walking   
   in the streets of Montreal yesterday and noticed from a number of pedestrian   
   conversations I overheard that the people have not released the student from   
   Ontario. Mr. Prime    
   Minister, when is the student from Ontario going to be released?"   
      
   Prime Minister (PC): "Maybe we'll release him at Christmas for good behavior!"   
      
   The student from Ontario was not released at Christmas. In fact, he is still   
   being held today.
