|    Schizophrenia & Homosexuality    |

About 30 years ago I moved into a shared apartment with two women and one man.       As I started to get to know the co-habitants, one of them told me that she was       schizophrenic and went to the Out Patients of a local hospital once a month       for an injection        that helped her control her thoughts.              She told me there are two types of schizophrenia - ordinary and manic.       Schizophrenia is an obsession in a person's mind that prevents them from       perceiving reality as it is. Manic schizophrenics try to change reality to fit       their thoughts.              One morning the Police brought her home. She told us that she was getting near       the end of her medication cycle and was due for a booster shot in a day.       Sometimes near the of the 30 day period she has trouble controlling her       thoughts. The previous evening        she had gone into a bar and solicited one of the customers. The owner called       the Police who took her for a booster as soon as Out Patients opened.              One wonders how much homosexuality is a product of people's thoughts. If       prostitution can be controlled with an injection every 30 days, perhaps a part       of homosexual thoughts could be controlled in the same way.              Have governments in Canada funded in-depth research into schizophrenia? Have       governments in Canada ever funded research into homosexuality as an illness?              JL 03-05-16              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
