   federal tracking   
      
   Ballot –   
   The latest Nanos federal ballot tracking has the Liberals at 34.5 per cent,   
   followed by the Conservatives at 31.7 per cent, the NDP at 16.5 per cent, the   
   Greens at 9.8 per cent, the BQ at 4.6 per cent and the People’s Party of   
   Canada (PPC) at 0.9 per    
   cent.   
      
   Accessible Voters –   
   Asked whether they would consider voting for each of the federal parties, 46.6   
   per cent would consider voting Liberal, while 40.8 per cent of Canadians say   
   they would consider voting Conservative.  One in three (34.3%) would consider   
   voting NDP, 33.3 per    
   centwould consider voting Green, 7.8 per cent would consider voting for the   
   People’s Party and 27.4 per cent would consider voting for the BQ.   
      
   Preferred Prime Minister–   
   Nanos tracking has Trudeau as the preferred choice as PM at 29.2 per cent of   
   Canadians followed by Scheer (22.7%), Singh (9.3%), May (7.6%) and Bernier   
   (2.1%).  Twenty eight per cent of Canadians were unsure whom they preferred.   
      
   Qualities of a Good Political Leader–   
      
   Four in ten Canadians (42.7%) believe Trudeau has the qualities of a good   
   political leader while 35.6 per cent believe Scheer has the qualities of a   
   good political leader.  Four in ten (36.1%) believe Elizabeth May has the   
   qualities of a good political    
   leader, while 29.5 say the same about JagmeetSingh. One in six (14.8%) believe   
   Bernier has the qualities of a good political leader a good political leader   
   29.5 per cent said Blanchet has the qualities of a good political leader (QC   
   only)
