From: cynical-bastard@hotmail.com              It's truly amazing how quickly everything got out of control with this       COVID-19 virus. The ones who blew it bigtime are the retail sector. Rather       that being seduced by the almighty dollar, at the first inkling that people       were going to become out-of-       control savage, rabid animals, stores everywhere should have locked their       doors and put strict limits on the essentials that that people are needlessly       hoarding. They should have also publicly announced to everyone shopping in       the store to behave like        human beings, or get the f**k out of the store, and have them escorted out by       police. Getting into fist fights and pulling guns over stupid toilet paper?        Yes, someone pulled a gun at a Loblaws in Toronto and threatened another       shopper, all over a        package of toilet paper! Luckily, several staff members jumped the idiot and       called the police. This just shows how sick we've become as a society. What       blows me away is how we're also supposed to be a society with "strong       Christian principles", and        if this is "Christian principles", it proves the late Christopher Hitchens       right, that religion poisons everything.               And guess what? Hand sanitizer, if overused, causes serious skin problems,       plus, it has a relatively short shelf life. So, to all you morons who bought       up bottles of hand sanitizer. you wasted your money! Looks good on you!               --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
