I had serious issues dealing with that       repulsive, arrogant piece of conservative shit, Greg Carr, where Mr. Carr       filed a compliant with Google, and I can't join that board any more. This was       hilarious, considering Mr.        Carr had numerous complaints lodged against him for the blinding hatred he       posted, and still posts, yet Google still allows that piece of human garbage       to post his bigotry and hatred uncensored. It was the same for those two       fellow conservatives, "       Allycat", and "Liberals are vermin". They post nothing but hate, and they       cannot take criticism. I just got tired of dealing with these assholes, and       Google banning me from being on that group board actually did me a favour. I       have reported their can.       politics activity to Hatewatch Canada though.              I cannot fathom how 'Google' would ban someone on the say-so of someone so       virulent as Greg Carr - even taking into account he is a schizophrenic who is       on a major list of anti-psychotics.              I also empathize with your views of AlleyCat and the Vermin - who are major       spammers and flooders of newsgroups and without anyone from Google       intervening. So far.              I'm thinking you should simply set up another account - Google or usenet - and       re-enter the fray. The group can.politics has become a handful of rightwing       posters with Greg Carr as their supportive mascot . . . It could use some       diversion.               > As for my grasp of Canadian politics, it's more of my watching how the       political right (ie. conservatives and people's party) and how they are being       influenced by religoius organizations like Campaign Life Coalition and their       deranged, bigoted head,        Jack Fonseca, CitizenGo, and their dangerously deranged Canadian leader, David       Cooke, and the new religious hate group, Christ's Forgiveness Ministries, run       by another bigot, "Reverend" David Lynn. This is where my interest lies. I       follow, maybe too        much so, these religious bigots and I document the damage they do. And I       don't just document the Canadian parasites. I have been following a number of       them in the U.S., people like Tony Perkins, Franklin Graham, Jimmy Swaggart,       Pat Robertson, and        Monica Cole. Perkins is so deranged, he is working with the Secretary of       Education, Nancy DeVos, to get science taken out of lower, middle, and high       schools in the U.S., and replace science with teaching the bible. You know       the bible, the book of        bigotry, hate, genocide, infanticide, misogyny, and homophobia, also called       the greatest work of fiction? This is where my interest lies. These people       are desperately trying to force us back into the dark ages where the church       controlled the state,        forgetting that Canada, for the most part, is a Secular country. I myself       identify as a Secular Humanist, and my personal religious beliefs will stand       any Christian's hair on end. Please note I say that with pride! I am also       sure you noticed how I        usually end my responses.       >        > In the last federal election, I had signs on my lawn that said: "NO BIGOTS"       and "KEEP CHURCH AND STATE SEPERATE". Someone campaigning for the       conservative candidate complained bitterly about my signs. The truth hurts!        >        > I do post frequently on two boards, "forever-fighting@googlegroups.com", and       "antireligion@googlegroups.com".        >        > I thank you for inviting me to come over and join can.politics, and I've       read what you post there. I also read the attacks on you, and I admire you       for your stamina. But, I will graciously decline the invitation.        >        > Long live Christopher Hitchens!              Just as some American-topic newsgroups have been permeated with the likes of       AlleyCat, I've seen some push-back from other posters as we get closer to the       U.S. election date. I think many readers are suspecting that those posters       are 'tools' for        foreign governments and are not allowing them the same amount of oxygen as in       the past. I think that's important to do in Canadian newsgroups as well.               I'm suspecting Trudeau is readying us for an early election. If that's the       case, it will be important to balance the weight of left/right messages on       some of these groups. At least until after the election . . . . 😎              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
