   Well, after rambling on about books and YouTube, please allow me to get into   
   what has to be THE biggest turn-off about all religion, and what is convincing   
   me that there really is no God.     
      
   If there is a God, he/she/it has to be THE most horrid entity ever.  Why?    
   First of all, look at the leader, or I should say leaders, of the United   
   States.  The United States of America, or should I say, the Divided States of   
   America, is currently in the    
   midst of figuring out their election.  Their current leader, Donald J. Trump,   
   is a lying, lecherous, parasite who made his "fortune" by lying to and   
   deceiving people, and who is an adulterous moron, a racist, Homophobic bigot,   
   and a misogynistic pig.     
   Few people will be quick to say that Trump is no Christian, if you want to   
   compare him to the kind of Christian that Jesus preached about in the new   
   testament.    In my eyes, this "man" is the quintessential Evangelical   
   Christian.  Evangelicals, I think,    
   are doing their best to drive people, especially young people, away from   
   formal religion, if not destroying their belief in God altogether.  Talk about   
   producing "WTF moments"!  This is very evident when the one religious movement   
   in the United States,    
   and to a certain extent in Canada, that is seeing the largest rise is the   
   "Nones", people, mainly those labelled as Millennials, who have no religious   
   affiliation.  Who can blame them!    
      
   The best way I can look at any religion is that all of them are nothing but   
   cults.  Too many use their religion to spread hate, whether it's hatred toward   
   women (Feminism is a pox!  Men must have full control over a woman's body!),   
   GLBT (Giving "them"    
   rights tramples on "my" rights!  They must be exterminated!), people of   
   colour, or people of other faiths, the hate that comes out of too many   
   religions, Christians especially, is horrible.  One need only look at those   
   who operate these megachurches,    
   people like Reuban Torrey, Arno Gaebelein, C. I. Scofield, Robert Jeffress,   
   Tony Perkins, Jerry Falwell, both senior and junior, slimeball Pat Robertson,   
   Kenneth Copeland, Paula White, Robert Morris, Franklin Graham, and vile,   
   repulsive organizations    
   like CitizenGo, headed by a vile, repulsive Canadian religious Homophobic   
   bigot named David Cooke, Focus on the Family, Campaign Life Coalition, headed   
   by another Canadian religious Homophobic bigot and misogynistic pig named Jack   
   Fonseca, Christ's    
   Forgiveness Ministry, which is strictly an anti-BLGQ organization, and is   
   headed by a Homophobic bigot named 'Reverend' David Lynn, evangelical minister   
   Todd Bently, and many more hate groups that use their misguided religious   
   beliefs to spread that hate,   
    all under the disguise of "freedom of religion" and "freedom of   
   speech/expression".    
      
   That is quite the impressive list of people who opened my eyes especially to   
   the blatant hypocrisy and general, all-round bullshit of religion.    
      
   By the way, if you are curious and want to see a comprehensive list of hate   
   groups that particularly operate within the United States, especially hate   
   groups who want to see GLBT communities exterminated, visit the website of the   
   Southern Poverty Law    
   Center.  Their list is extensive, and even lists the names of the bigots who   
   head them.     
      
   As with any religious subject, there are numerous websites and channels on   
   television and on YouTube that have screaming lunatic preachers condemning all   
   things left, and if you want to admit the truth, all things "true Christians"   
   would actually stand    
   for.  If you ever delve into these clowns' profiles, most are the biggest   
   fakes, charlatans, and snake-oil salespeople around.  A lot are not even real   
   pastors.  They're fake snake oil salesmen and con artists, and do nothing but   
   spread hate.  Some are,    
   or should be, total embarrassments to what "Christians" are supposed to be.    
   Some of the worst are people like "(phony) Pastor" Dave Daubenmire who made a   
   total ass of himself when he tried to sue the NFL (and the FOX TV network that   
   broadcast the Super    
   Bowl football game) all over the "pornographic" half-time show.  Hey, you   
   imbecilic, brain-dead moron, have you ever heard of "just change the channel",   
   or better yet, "just shut the goddamned TV off"?  Obviously, he's either too   
   stupid to understand    
   that, or he's just a larcenous opportunist, and the judge who heard the   
   presentation of his lawsuits agreed.  All suits were tossed, and "Pastor Dave"   
   found himself on the hook for not only his own legal fees, but the legal fees   
   of the NFL.  Looks good    
   on the stupid fecal-matter-for-brains jerk!  One more point "Pastor Dave", go   
   peddle your religious poison somewhere else!   
      
   As vile, repulsive, and stupid as this Daubenmire moron is, sadly, he's the   
   typical symptom of the evangelical disease.  All of these clowns are dangerous   
   and scary.  They were so seduced by Donald J. Trump that they've sold their   
   souls to Satan himself.    
    Before, I mentioned the names of Franklin Graham, Jerry Falwell, Jr., Tony   
   Perkins, Brian Brown, Paula White, Robert Jeffress, Kenneth Copeland, Rick   
   Jayner, Robert Henderson, and Lance Wallnau, just to name a few of these   
   two-faced phony snake oil    
   salespeople, I mean, evangelical preachers, are so slimy, they are also   
   seriously dangerous.  Praying for God to come down and kill anyone who votes   
   Democrat?   Praying for Trump to win the election and thus destroy his   
   "enemies" (i.e. anyone who is    
   smart enough to vote against that criminal bastard)?  These are people of   
   God?  If they are, they also prove God is an evil entity (an opinion that   
   caused most of the arguments between my late wife and myself).  All these   
   so-called "preachers" do is    
   spread hate, especially against the GLBTQ communities, women, people of   
   colour, and anyone who would dare identify themselves as a Liberal.
