You do realize that OS/2's stock command shell is 16-bit and not 32-bit, 
right?  Unless you're running JdeBP's 32-bit shell, you're running 16-bit.  I 
don't know of eCS or ArcaOS have changed that to a 32-bit shell or not but if 
you're running the original IBM OS/2, the original shell is 16-bit...
