I'm assuming you're using SIO/VMODEM here.

Go into the \mptn\etc\services file.  Comment out the telnet ports and add
something like this:

vmotelnet  10123/tcp
vmotelnet  10123/udp

Save and reboot.

That's what I do here.

Note you can only have one telnet port open.  You can't double-dip. :D
