Yep, VMODEM was pretty nice once, but that was 30 years ago, before BinkP. ;-)

But I still wonder why it works locally in my home network, but does not over
the internet. Can anyone confirm a working VMODEM link over the internet?
There are not so many IVM flags in the nodelist and some of those are not
VMODEM but TELNET servers.
