Yes, I used it for many years (before going from a heavily modified and
tweaked 3+ to eCS 1.2, bypassing 4 altogether). Nothing other than bare 3 is
required; my office machine still runs Connect (FP 17?) with SNAP 3.18,
albeit almost only as a server for my home machine.
