When I was starting out, most of the early CS classes were taught in Pascal. Later, we moved to C. Pascal was a much simpler language for teaching computer science concepts than a lower-level language, and it's ability to easily code quick hacks in it is bested only by BASIC or another interpeted language. --- SBBSecho 3.11-Win32 * Origin: http://realitycheckbbs.org | tomorrow's retro tech (1:218/700) SEEN-BY: 1/123 14/5 15/0 19/36 20/4609 90/1 103/705 106/201 116/18 SEEN-BY: 120/331 340 601 123/131 140 153/757 7715 154/10 203/0 218/700 SEEN-BY: 221/0 222/2 226/16 30 227/114 702 229/101 424 426 616 664 SEEN-BY: 229/1014 230/150 152 240/5138 5832 5853 249/206 317 400 250/1 SEEN-BY: 261/38 100 266/512 267/155 275/100 280/464 5003 282/1031 SEEN-BY: 282/1056 291/100 111 292/854 8125 317/3 320/119 219 322/757 SEEN-BY: 341/66 342/200 396/45 423/120 633/267 280 640/1321 1384 712/620 SEEN-BY: 712/848 770/1 801/161 189 1502/119 2320/105 2432/390 2454/119 SEEN-BY: 3634/12 5020/1042 PATH: 218/700 261/38 712/848 280/464 240/5832 229/426 |
