At a former job I used it to find and grab new orders from an SSL website, parse the JSON order data, send the order over to an accounting system and print custom reports without anything but some libraries from the base install. Basically replaced an employee's worth of work during the slow part of the year and 4 or 5 during the busy part.. Would most companies want a Pascal solution? Probably not.. I don't work there anymore so they had to find someone to either work on it or replace it. Their accounting system is pretty stable, but keeping an open source web store with thousands of visitors a day up-to-date means the API might just be incompatible at any moment. Still, it's neat to know little old Pascal is reliable enough to save/make you a ton of money :) --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A47 2021/12/25 (Windows/32) * Origin: cold fusion - cfbbs.net - grand rapids, mi (1:120/616) SEEN-BY: 15/0 90/1 103/705 106/201 120/616 123/10 124/5016 128/260 SEEN-BY: 129/305 135/220 225 153/757 7715 154/10 30 40 50 700 203/0 SEEN-BY: 218/700 220/90 221/0 6 226/30 70 227/114 229/110 112 113 SEEN-BY: 229/206 307 310 317 400 426 428 470 550 616 664 700 240/1120 SEEN-BY: 240/5832 266/512 280/464 5003 282/1038 291/111 292/854 8125 SEEN-BY: 301/1 320/219 322/757 341/66 234 342/200 396/45 423/120 460/58 SEEN-BY: 460/256 1124 5858 467/888 633/280 712/848 770/1 2320/105 SEEN-BY: 3634/12 5020/400 5054/30 5075/35 PATH: 120/616 154/10 280/464 460/58 229/426 |
