The ANSI codes on your main menu may have some bugs.  It looks OK in
hyperterminal, but not in putty.

My home brewed telnet client that I wrote, looks the same as putty.
Since two independent implementation of ANSI color are showing the same
bugs, I think the bug must be in the ANSI menu, and not both clients.

I don't know how hyperterminal gets it right.  Maybe it has bugs that
match the bugs in the ANSI codes.

I'm editing this message with my own telnet client, and the pcboard
editor looks fine, no bugs.  So I think the bugs are just in the main
menu ANSI codes.
