I am not a good source for that. I used to run a PCBoard system back in
the 90's. It was huge then. Of course after they went under, things
changed. I believe there are at least a few more other than Michael who
run it here in fido. Not sure. I wish I wanted the hassle of setting it
all up again, but I just haven't got it in me. Losts of registered Utils
and all that I had that went with it. I did just through it up and ran
it out of my Synchronet system as a door. It was a strange interface,
but once one got used to it, it was great. My system fired up and it was
great, it was nostalgic, but it would take an awful lot of work to get
it to run stand alone. Were You thinking of running it? I wish I could
think of the name right now, but there is a website that has files for
PCBoard, including a modded setup of the last original version and the
last beta version and information on how to make them y2k compliant. If
I remember I will try and post it here.
