Then the gateway is broken because I don't see these messages in the
newsgroup, and messages I posted directly to the newsgroup recently, are
not showing up here.

Another question:

Why does the FIDO echolist contain newsgroups gated by Familynet into
FIDO?  If they're all like alt.bbs.pcboard, they're not working.

Looks like a mess that needs to be cleaned up.
