Windows does not have Perl installed by default. Binaries - ActiveState Perl [1] has binary distributions of Perl for Win32 (and Perl for Win64). - Strawberry Perl[2]: A 100% Open Source Perl for Windows that is exactly the same as Perl everywhere else; this includes using modules from CPAN [3], without the need for binary packages. Source - Consider looking at App::perlbrew[4]to help compile and manage Perl from source - Find out more about the source code, development versions as well as current releases of the Perl source code[5]. - Latest under development source code[6] [1] http://www.activestate.com/activeperl/downloads [2] http://s rawberryperl.com [3] http://www.perl.org/cpan.html [4] http://search.cpan.org/dist/App-perlbrew/ [5] http://www.cpa .org/src/README.html [6] http://dev.perl.org/perl5/source.html --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag * Origin: Rocasa BBS (1:120/546) |
