The mayor has not dealt with most of those things. Other cities have this
problem but it does seem to be getting worse in Philly. All the murders and
very few arrests.Low income equals many middle class moving out, because the
city has not done anything about drugs or bringing industry back basically.
I won't even get into that part about NYers moving to Philly. If the city or
state allows the population to suffer from lack of jobs, pollution and I
would assume high health cost care and insurance , what more do I expect ?
More of the same. What has the Mayor done to address these issues? What can
he do when even the tv stations ignore these issues. All I hear about on tv
is what happens to people after they get fat or sick or a victim of crime
or run over or at a teacher strike or traffic and weather ever two minutes
which is I guess better then crime and it plays into denial here. The fun
part about listening to the news is to see how happy they can appear when
people are poor , the sports teams are losing , the traffic horrible and the
air is dirty and the crime is rising? . There aint much left to do in Philly
positive seriously. Overeat? . walk ?
