XPost: phl.media, phl.housing       From: mcs@yahoo.com              about distorting? I think its kind of cool that when I point out things,       stories come out about asthma, about Bush's environmental policy problems,       about Inquirers concern (rightfully) about violent crime and arrest rate in       Philly so I who is distorting what when Street says crime is getting better?       I don't think he is clueless , in fact he is rather smart. I think though he       is in denial and does what he has to do to survive politically . If he       thinks that is whats more important then being honest, thats on him and his       maker. But I can say that about lots of things. I don't understand how many       come to conclusions , or why someone doesn't complain when air pollution is       bad, or why people choose cigs and drugs and beating on people, I do know       certain things are connected such as telling the truth and having good       families and living without fear of crime , are valuable assets that many of       us don't care to instill in others . Many of us believe if they don't want       that, then its on them. We are all responsible for a better world and yes       there are many things that can be done to foster change. Being positive is       great, if you were born with good supply of endorphin or good family but if       not lets tell the truth and get to the root of the problems and fix them.       "Karen Y Byrd" |
