   REPOST: House Passage: Income Tax Increase   
      
   The following is a repost from October 21st and serves as a worthy reminder   
   while   
   State Legislators will soon be quietly receiving a (cola) pay hike:   
      
   In the early morning hours of October 21st, the State House voted to raise the   
   state income tax.   
      
   In a few weeks, these same legislators will be up for their 9th consecutive   
   COLA,   
   cost-of-living-adjustment, which by any other name is a pay increase.
