   Have you decided to ignore reality again?  The city as a whole is safer   
   than it's been in quite some time.  Despite the fearmongering, actual   
   crime rates are down compared to five years ago, ten years ago and even   
   twenty years ago.  Crime has to be prevented, not run from, and that's   
   apparently what you want to do.  If you're renting, there are lots of   
   rental apartments in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and if you're buying,   
   then start saving money for a down payment and keep your credit history   
   clean.  Meanwhile, instead of watching television, try figuring out how   
   to cooperate with your neighbors to make you and them actually safer   
   rather than watching television.  I still remember reading polls that   
   apparently indicated that the more television an individual watched,   
   the more fearful of crime that individual was and sadly you seem to   
   conform with those poll results.
