   On the other hand, it did seem to allow its citizens to support   
   organizations that the US characterizes as terrorist, and it was the   
   source of most of the folks who actually did commit an act of foreign   
   terrorism most recently within the US.  If I were going to pick out   
   sources of likely foreign terrorists for the US, I'ld pick Pakistan,   
   Egypt and Saudi Arabia - sadly all three have governments deemed allies   
   of the US.
