   First, aliens without documentation aren't generally getting food free,   
   instead, they have to buy it just like almost everyone else does.   
   Undocumented aliens also are not eligible for food stamps or what   
   passes for welfare these days.   
      
   Health care is a tricky issue, sick untreated folk for example can be   
   vectors for the spreading of illness, and most undocumented aliens   
   avoid seeking out medical care for fear of being reported and then   
   deported.  Incidentally if one in 10 people in the US are here   
   illegally, that means there are 28 million illegally residing folk,   
   most credible estimates put the number at 10 million tops.
