   Consider a report that ran on network news recently:   
      
   Children of illegal immigrants, who have lived most of their lives in the US   
   and have been educated here, are demanding that they be given the same   
   access to state scholarships as legal residents.   
      
   They complain that, if they are deported (back to Mexico, for the most part)   
   they would be thrust into an environment that is completely alien to them!   
      
   Much as I dislike illegals, I do feel for these kids--who have come here not   
   on their own, and now may be sent "back" to a place they've never known.
