   Kerry and Gore were and are closer to the perceived political center in the   
   US than Bush is or was.  Bush also got fewer votes than Gore in 2000 in   
   case you forgot and was re-elected with a very slim margin for an incumbent   
   president.  I suggest also that what Bush is the beneficiary of is a press   
   that doesn't cover his faults properly and praises his supposed success too   
   much ala a certain aircraft landing or elections in Iraq.  Sorry but he's a   
   big failure no matter how much you defend him.  His record is available for   
   perusal- all you have to do is look at the record, he's the worst president   
   in at least 100 years.
