   No, actually what republicans have been good at is getting attack ads that   
   portray moderate democrats as too "liberal" and distorting the records of   
   candidates who run against democrats.  What you seem to ignore is that   
   republicans don't seem to have the same funding edge in 2006 that they have   
   had since 1994, something that probably strikes fear in the hearts of   
   republican politicians everywhere, since if they have to truly run on their   
   records, they're dead politically even in some republican leaning   
   districts.

   Let's see, a war in Iraq, the largest terrorist attack by a foreign group   
   inside the US ever, the largest deficits in history, violations of the   
   Constitutional rights of Americans and foreigners, the gutting of FEMA   
   which supposedly was to help prepare for any kind of disaster affecting the   
   US, and I've only begun to list his flaws but you believe that history will   
   show him correct.  You'll notice I've left out mention of the corruption in   
   his administration and the incredible ability to gut things that would   
   improve things for the country in the future but you're still convinced   
   he's done something correct, care to detail just what he's done that   
   history will respect?
