First all some of those successful people
never got married(I didn't) so they have income that's
their's alone. It's not being used to for spouses and
   children.

If I hadn't had to deal with some of the financial issues with
elder care I probably would have been one of those people
who could have afforded that 400K home.

I have news for you.... it was clear back in the 1960s that computing
would rule that's why I got into it and that's why I've been
very successful at it. The internet has simply hastened
what was already going on anyhow.

I'm extremely lucky in that I'll be retired from computing before something
   like this happens.

   > My prediction is war and disease will cull the amounts of people.

History has already proven that that can happen so that's
not really a prediction at all. It's more like an inevitability.

It makes me wonder why people have kids in the first place.
I either see them as incredibly optimistic or fools.
