   I consider myself an independent. I am for tougher laws for crime  and   
   against pollution. Illegals are a whole nother matter. I have been trying to   
   get a fiancee over for close to a year. Its sooo difficult. The process is   
   so subjective. If they don't like your name they can find a reason to delay   
   or turn you down. Yet someone can jump a fence and poof they are here.   
    Sooo since I live in Pa and I more then most monitor the air quality and   
   subsequent quality of life issues, environment and pollution to me is way   
   more important then the war in Iraq or gambling slots. The worse that can be   
   said about me is I fought even though its only on the net for something I   
   felt and believed in and saw four or five years ago.: a better healthier   
   environment and our Republicans in office did nothing while at least 60 days   
   in the last year neared warning levels for the Quality of air , I expect   
   this summer to be as bad.   
   . They had to wait for the leading scientists in the nation say the NE is   
   going to have the worse air on earth if nothing is done. ( this on PBS   
   special on global Warming) before some started to do something , Did you see   
   or hear Specter or Santorum care?  If the Epa warns you not to go out, and   
   they are rather conservative, whats the republicans waiting for to mandate   
   faster cleaner environment in which we don't depend on mideast oil? In which   
   kids can get up and not have to take asthma meds to learn?   The only reason   
   Republicans are doing more now, is because they are being sued, and get this   
   the rest of the world is moving on with or without them and the evidence is   
   coming in about global warming being real. By the way I know why the visa   
   thing is not working with me and I can't prove it but its political and I   
   hope to get a lawyer. They know who I am . This is the world I am living in.   
   I try to write what I feel , I hope things can be done. Millions more are   
   disillusioned and get this, they don't know why? They might think their drug   
   cartel didnt ship today, they might need drugs or alcohol  to fight   
   depression or feeling tired from polluted air or little work , from no jobs   
   around. there are millions on the edge no one writes about. But and or its   
   not a one way street. Democrats and Republicans got to know they are not in   
   this high and mighty club above the voters. This election reform thing in PA   
   is a good thing and its a good time because so many more people are coming   
   on the net. But lets not throw the baby out with the bath water. Rendell is   
   still better then having a Republican in office I believe . Crime is the   
   area Dems need to do much more.
