|    should people go to college in Philadelp    |
|    13 Jul 07 14:53:25    |
XPost: phl.media, pa.politics       From: mcs@yahoo.com              the air is so bad so often i think its time to question whether yg people       can do more damage to their bodies by going to college here. I really       believe its a possibility       Know this more then life itself. If comparisons in health between people who       lived in mostly concentrated polluted areas like Philly ( days and sometimes       months without 24hours of clean air) and some cities on east coast and they       compared those people to THOSE WITH CLEAN AIR AND THE TEST       Was VERY THOROUGH , YOU WOULD SEE THE LARGEST CONSPIRACY TO ALLOW POISONING       OF PEOPLE TO GO ON IN THE usa TODAY. PEOPLE ARE NOT BEING PROTECTED. THERE       IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN ALMOST EVERY CONCEIVEABLE CATEGORY of health if       honest tests were done..BETWEEN AREAS       THAT GET CLEAN AIR AND THOSE THAT ARE POISONED AND GET THE WORSE. pollution       : more output in costs to healthcare, to more cancers ( no walk will cure       that), to most asthma, etc. Compare the lung function and stress test of two       contrasting polluted and non polluted cities and you will see that not only       are some people paying more then anything for the costs of gas and       energy...... they then are paying even more to treat the conditons that       pollution causes more then the people who get clean air... A double and       triple whammy that makes their whole lifecycle one of least production       ,outlay of money for energy and doctors and of poison and victims and       illness where some people are not told or protected about the dangers and       the polluters don't have to clean up their mess .                            When your out in traffic do people look happy? Are people healthy? Have you       read the links to bad health and also the links to pollution major media and       politicians ignores/ ? Even sandy talks about realtiy of air that is often       stagnant. We have more cancers, more heart disease, more morbidity, largest       amount of asthma, and depression, and murders, one after another of       politicans who are on the take,, we need a special court at our stadium, and       a news media and politicians ignoring most all of the most important links       children and families should know and be concerned about. We are breeding       people who fail and then complain afterwards why Philadelphia?       You see all the commercials for healthcare? Its no accident. Think before       you buy a home here and get your family out of one of the biggest       conspiracies to harm people and not tell them why /       its allot of looking away if you expect this city to be next great anything!       In addition to kids and adults not having jobs and many people in poverty       and teachers who can't seem to teach and most amount of depression and       asthma and most days without clean air and murderers walking around (100s)-       in case you can ignore all that , and calling that       "seeing the cup half full " then one wonders what you might call empty lol       or you can rationalize anything. Whats left that is bad to avoid ? lol       Many people here once they realize they can add up the links, should be very       concerned about a conspiracy to allow pollution to harm people without       adequate protection measures or people to tell or warn them. People have a       right to not be happy and just because the damage is slower don't mean its       not harming your familiy!              as for murder; Kids you feel loved in Philadelphia? Do people look happy? I       love the part that murderers are great at avoiding people like you Karen.       Their decision to murder only certain people leaves the rest of us       completely safe right? Like people who murder actually are dependable in       making the right decisions in the first place? lol Keep dreaming and putting       me on ignore.. when you come back to reality you will respond again.                     To me Philly is made up of people in denial , who are marginalized by       different interests,,, who are not the best educated and who basically dont'       care what the hell happens even if they spend every cent they got in denial       ,beer, Eagles and politics, and doctors and worse jail. ...People around the       US who are smart often think about things entirely different then people       here who get their values based on what the newscasters tell them to think       about. You see action news lately? They look like the grandpa brigade, all       greying before their time. The bottom line is that unless people have power       to change perceptions , which I certainly don't, the few agencies who try to       supercede and make changes to protect people won't have much affect. The       news media has the power to change , and big money and unfortuanetly this is       not something they want to do ,       I was out in traffic today and lets hear a doc tell me that air I was       breathin wasn't harming me lol. To think people put up with this everyday is       beyond comprehension. Its way beyond bad.. its beyond warning. its like       putting your life exposed to mini 9/11 dust each time out there . Of course       many here with investments and homes and businesses will not believe and       rather default to cynicism. (spelling).                                   But again because people do decide to live here enmass, don't make it       healthy or right or sane. You really don't know what percent know the       ramifications or consequences from pollution Like I think I know of them and       if they did I have to believe many would not choose this area.. Objective       people would default with potential danger for their families.       Have you been up Castor Avenue in the lower Northeast lately, or walked                     Yes and the reason they move there and not former Philadelphians or newer       professionals for the most part is because they are clueless to the       ramifications of what goes on with increase risks with the pollution here. I       don't think you could get anyone but poorer people there or people who are       immigrants and don't know any better to live there. To you it might spell       pockets of optimism , to me its sadness as they will ruin their and families       health. But like I asked you before if the overall consequences is as       damaging as I say, don't you think its a waste of life and time to open up       stores here? Who would warn families here and why? What studies prove its       not dangerous to live here? Anyone? . People might open stores but to assume       revitalization or future with so many negatives is not sane.       All of these people are Philly's future. If the recent election results are       any guide, they're not tied into the thinking of the past -- and I share       your generally low opinion of the thinking many native Philadelphians       demonstrate. victims know their assailants.              Yes but that doesn't mean who they murder or effect is limited to who they       select. To pull the trigger in the first place puts an inordinate amount of       stupidity and dysfunction in the decision making process . I can't possibly       feel better off these people who risk their own life and others by shooting       someone will be able to make the right decisions in the future. Who they              [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
