   But it turns a lot of people off in  time because you   
   segue EVERYTHING with/ into pollution. You start threads about   
   some other topic which ALWAYS leads to some comment about pollution   
   because it's *your* pet project. Your "cause" doesn't resonant   
   with with some others so they are either idiots, in denial(your   
   description of me) or something else in your opinion.   
      
   Like this original thread. You bring up the fact that local   
   women may have to deal   
   with another rapist/ sexual predator like they did in the late   
   90s. Fine. No problem there! BUT almost immediately you   
   launched into the comment above about pollution which most people   
   will never see as having anything to do with some a-hole   
   running around jumping women.

   The bigger issue is whether people have enough money to live on. That alone   
   will mitigate just about every issue wrt quality of life.
