   Be honest, the weather affects more people than a sensationalized   
   murder.  Just because you want the grim details of every murder doesn't   
   mean that it sells to the viewers of most TV programs.  I spend about   
   an hour a week watching television maximum unless some special program   
   is about to appear (for example I'll probably watch the PBS Lackawana   
   show on thursday).  You aren't missing anything just because a murder   
   doesn't get lots of gory coverage and quite frankly, it's good for the   
   city that murder is being downplayed.  It doesn't make folks safer,   
   prevent murders, all it does it excite folks and scare them.
