   Street is doing what it takes to win this election. He doesn't really need   
   to play the race card, but that's what he has indeed done. That's unfortunate   
   because it only polarizes race relations in Philly.   
      
   Last night, I saw a TV commercial with Ed Rendell in it voicing support   
   for Mayor Street. Rendell made some good points and not once did he need   
   to resort to race baiting to do it.
