   Thanks, but no thanks.  I pay for my own coverage and pick my own docs and   
   facilities.  I want nothing to do with the VA.   
      
   I was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle when I first moved to Phoenix.   
   I had a new job where insurance didn't kick in for 90 days.  The woman who   
   hit me was clearly at fault, but in the meantime I needed care.  With a   
   choice between County and VA, you know which way I went.  I lay on a gurney   
   for hours, watching a dyke nurse and dyke doctor fuck each other with their   
   eyes while I went without treatment for a broken foot.
