   One thing that you and those like you fail to take into consideration is   
   what percent of the Hispanics in Arizona are illegal.  If it's, say 33%,   
   does that justify harassing the other 67%?

   Yes it is, unless you have reason to suspect, for reasons other than their   
   race, that they were involved.

   I've never seen anything from you that suggests that, but I haven't   
   monitored the newsgroups all that closely, so I'll take you at your word.   
   I agree that our immigration and citizenship policies should be much more   
   liberal, and have advocated that for years.  But what have you done to   
   further that belief?

   The problem is more that right-wing LEOs and politicians want illegals to   
   stay illegal so they have a platform to campaign on.  How long would Arpaio   
   last in office if he didn't have his jihad against illegals?  Without the   
   support of those politicians and LEOs, those few employers wouldn't have   
   much influence.
