|    Michelle Obama's Stay at Oprah's Estate     |

XPost: ba.politics, dc.media, soc.penpals       XPost: alt.burningman       From: bg@sjrb.ca              Well, if you didn't see this one coming a mile away, you've       probably been living under a rock for the past few years.       Michelle Obama is staying at Oprah Winfrey's Maui estate to       celebrate her 50th birthday -- and let's just say Oprah's island       neighbors are less than thrilled about her being there.              According to TMZ, the First Lady's presence is pretty much       making life a living hell for anyone who lives or works in the       general vicinity of the property.              Since there are road closures, people can't get to work on time.       And deliveries aren't making it to local businesses, so they       can't stock their shelves. Oh, and did I mention that there are       security checkpoints on the roads -- and that recreational areas       have been closed?              Yep. All because Michelle apparently needed a little extra rest       and relaxation on her birthday ... which God forbid she should       be forced to spend at the White House with her family. (As if.)              I'm sorry, but I don't blame residents and business owners in       Hawaii one bit for being annoyed about all of the hoopla       surrounding Michelle's visit. These people have lives ... like       real lives where they have to go to work, shuttle kids to and       from school, and engage in whatever other activities regular       people do on a day to day basis.              http://www.cafemom.com/articles/in_the_news/166597/michelle_obam       as_stay_at_oprahs?utm_medium=sem2&utm_campaign=prisma&utm_source       =outbrain&utm_content=0&non_us=US                             --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
