   After workers at Volkswagen's Tennessee plant voted to reject   
   the UAW, the German company's home union, which has seats on its   
   management council, threatened to block investment in the plant   
   if the workers don't accept a union.   
      
   It will be interesting to see how the media spins this one. The   
   Daily Show's John Stewart foamed at the mouth about GOP Bob   
   Corker supposedly interfering in the vote by criticizing the   
   UAW; how will Stewart feel about Germans intimidating U.S.   
   workers? I suspect he won't be bothered.

   carmaker in the southern United States if its workers there are
